Future Cotmanhay is a new community programme delivered by Parkside High CIC. It brings residents and local organisations together to improve communication, create volunteering opportunities and support positive changes across Cotmanhay.
Parkside High CIC has secured £224,307 from the East Midlands Combined County Authority through its Community Development Fund.
The funding will support a programme called ‘Future Cotmanhay’, which will be delivered over 24 months.
Parkside High CIC will work with local partners including Ilkeston Town Football Club, P3, Home-Start Erewash, The Elka Project, Cotmanhay Community Network and Friends of Bennerley Viaduct.
Cotmanhay has been identified as one of the areas to receive dedicated community support.
The funding forms part of a £3 million regional programme supporting communities facing social and economic challenges.
